Whatever Happen to: Eddie Moyzan

When I first got interested in bodybuilding 5'10" super heavy Eddie Moyzan was the man, and (or so I remember) one of the few tattooed bodybuilders at the time. Eddie first popped up at the 1999 NPC USA where he finished 12th. The next year he rose to 3rd at the 2000 NPC National Championships (he was 6th in 2001 and then 4th in '02). He dropped down to the heavyweight division for the 2001 North American Championships, which he won (placing ahead of current IFBB pro Will Harris). After the 2002 Nationals he disappeared for the amateur scene however.

After showing up at the 2006 Olympia Expo at the Gaspari Nutrition booth, in 2008 Eddie was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver, after he was arrested for selling anabolic steroids (Dianabol (methandrostenolone) and Anavar (oxandrolone)) to Gregory Emery, an undercover police officer, on two occasions in January 2007 at the Golds Gym in Bethlehem, PA. The incidents occurred over a year prior to the filling of the charges by the police however. Eddie was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond. He currently has a website which focuses on his personal training business.
